The Cantillon Effect — documented by Richard Cantillon in his 1730 Essay on the Nature of Trade in General — explains the mechanism: newly printed money flows first to banks and asset holders, inflating their balance sheets before the price signal reaches the saver or the wage earner. By the time inflation appears in groceries, the insider has already cashed out. The Fed calls this 'stimulus.' The sovereign individual calls it what it is: a transfer from those who produce to those who are connected.
